People have different ideas about life. While I am still trying to figure out the sense or senselessness of life, I am presenting some words from people who are “Wise”. Hope their wisdom will help you decipher the cross-word puzzle of your life to some extent.

Negative Influence

We are constantly bombarded with negativity throughout the day and all seven days of the week. This is the side effect of living in modern high tech society. Just switch-on the TV – and suddenly you are face to face with the news of conflicts, terror attacks, celebrity gossips, floods, hurricanes; everything negative. It is not that there are no good people in the world or people don’t do good things, it is just that they don’t make news. Good news is no news! This is how modern media works and this is what we promote in the name of freedom of speech.

This might be the grudge of a freak like me who is obsessed about good values and heavenly meanings of life.

But I know that people are saner than me and have wonderful ideas about life. It is, however, my own humble limitations that I often don’t get them. For instance, someone said – We are born wet, naked, and hungry. Then things get worse. I fail to understand what can get worse than being naked and hungry. Here is another wise man: Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up. Unfortunately, I don’t have musical ears so this one is way beyond my reach – that is the reason I go to musicals and enjoy melodious sleep!

I can tell you honestly in plain English that my IQ on life closely matches what Cary Grant says: My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can. Please don’t ask me how I occupy my self – I have yet to figure out better ways of keeping busy than writing articles. Lately, I also discovered that some people actually read what I write – it must be pure accident, I suppose. Because accidents do happen in life.

I also vibe well with Jack Handey when he says: I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it; and with Ashleigh Brilliant: My life has a superb cast but I can't figure out the plot. I like these people; they can read my mind and say it loud too!

I just love this article about what others think of life. Love the photos. I like how you added a bit of your own self around the quotes, love the info on you. By the way, when you find out the whole meaning on life, let us know. I am still trying to figure it ALL out. Thank you for sharing.:)

Life is a story. We are the actors and actresses in each others story, including our own. We play different roles. We act them out either consciously or as puppets on a string (on auto pilot). Life is what you make it. You write yourself in; you can write yourself out; you can change your character; you can change the scenery.
The pen is in your hands. You can rewrite your story as often as you like. As we live our stories, we have many experiences: we grow in knowledge, wisdom, strength; we learn how to be happy, sad, angry. We learn to love and hate. Our stories have drama, comedy, adventure, action, horror. The good thing is: We each have the power to create our own life. Are you writing your life story or is somebody else writing it for you?
