This article lists ten things that people do to destroy their health.

1. People drink too much alcohol. Alcohol is bad for the liver and brain, and then some, such as acid reflux.
2. People smoke too much. Smoking is bad for the lungs and causes other serious health issues, such as heart problems and other types of cancer. Second had smokers are also affected.
3. People eat too much fast food. Fast Food is bad for your heart and builds your cholesterol.
4. People stress too much over the little things. Stress ages you and lowers your immune system.
5. People drink too much soda. Soda is bad for your over all weight and the there is too much sugar, which is not good for your blood.
6. People watch too much television. Watching too much television does not keep you active, which can lead to obesity, which can lead to other serious health issues.
7. People stay up late too much. Not having a sufficient nights sleep ages you, lowers your immune system, and does not allow your brain to function properly.
8. People fight too much. Fighting and anger causes stress, which can lead to health issues, such as a heart attack or stroke.
9. People drink too much coffee. Coffee has caffeine and too much of it could be bad for your heart; it also makes people nervous, and it can cause heartburn or acid reflux.
10. People take too much medicine. Some medication may be necessary, but people do not need a pill for everything. Pills cause addiction and they damage the bodily organs.

Dare I add people eat too much meat. A good portion size is the size of a deck of cards, and its good to skip having meat some days too. A 80/20 diet (20% meats and proteins) is excellent for health and weight concerns. 90/10 is even better

The one key factor is the diet industry that promotes short term fixes that allow 'days off'. Can you really have a day off from healthy eating?
