Fun Run

Running can be fun too. Running can be a means of helping out our fellowmen. Most especially, running is equivalent to good health.
Fun Run
My officemate's parents are usually involved in a healthy-and-fit lifestyles. Thus,
they join programs and different activities to keep theirselves physically-fit. Plus,
fun-runs have been very eminent these days. It makes me speculative why a lot of people participate on these functions. My enthusiasm in these activities started just for
curiosity sake, and because i thought it sounded fun, hence the word "fun-run". I was
as well excited and interested to get myself a singlet, and race myself through. So, I joined.
It was called the 1st PMAP Cebu People Run. It was intended to help children for their
future, specifically, their studies. It was later during the event that I learned about the beneficiaries. So, it made me feel even better, knowing that I was able to help young kids for their schooling apart from having fun. Nevertheless, I and my friends gave it a second shot. We managed to register ourselves in the Runrio Series, a couple of months later. It was fun and an enjoyable experience, as much as I want to reiterate myself.
I was never really into finding out the good benefits of fun-run to myself, or shall I say "running". It was all about fun for me, at first. It just made me all the more fulfilled, knowing that it(the event) was also for a good cause, not only for other people, but also for ourselves.
On top of the fun and excitement we experience from the run, I was able to grasp a good knowledge of its benefits to ourselves. No wonder a lot of people, not only join fun-runs but also indulge themselves in running.
Little did I know, running can relieve you from stress. It's a good distraction from depression as well. And generally, can also improve you physically, It contributes to
good health. Anyway, Health is wealth afterall, as what most of us know. So, I encourage everyone to run. Give it time and you'll feel good yourself. You might want to join fun-runs as well, you'll not only get a good heart for yourself literally; but, you can also let others feel the good heart in you.
