God loves you unconditionally; your own guilt makes you think that God loves you less.
Depression and Coming-Out
I am not gay, but I have friends at work that are, and I have got to say that they are genuinely the most accepting people in the world. I would like to let all Gays/Lesbians know that not everyone in the world is relatively hostile and prejudice towards them.
Focus on people who really care, love and accept you for who you are. Do not be ashamed of who you are, that just leaves you feeling confused, isolated, lonely, guilty and depressed. No one and nothing is worth that. When it comes down to depression, low self - esteem and suicidal thoughts, you need to find some professional help learning to accept your homosexuality.
Don't waste your life pretending to be someone your not, like Ricky Martin (singer and actor) said 'Coming-out gave him the greatest sense of peace he's ever known and if he knew how amazing it would make him feel he would've done it ten years ago'.
God loves you unconditionally; your own guilt makes you think that God loves you less. Be strong! God does not want you feeling depressed and lonely; God wants you to be happy. Don't worry about what people think… So please! If you are seriously depressed and are contemplating suicide, or hurting yourself, Don't Do It! NO ONE IS WORTH IT.......
Please call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1800-273-8255.
They will help you.
