He has Multiple Disabilities

This is a little boy with multiple disabilities. He is blind, his kidney, lungs and heart are not work properly. He is an example of a boy who was born with lack of nutrition.
His Name is Ihsan
Who thinks poverty will cause some disease in our society. Poor people only seek for little money by working hardly early in the morning till dawn. They do not live in proper and settled houses. They work simply for their primary needs because they are unable to get their second or tertiary needs.
Far away from my residence, that is in Babakan Leuwi village, Bandung district, West Java, there is a little boy with his multiple disabilities. His age is 8 years old but his weight is only 15 kilograms. His name is Ihsan Lukmanul Hakim.
Multiple disabilities
Day by day, what he can do is only lying down on his old bed. He claps his hand if he ask for things. He shakes his head and groans unclear when he doesn't like some thing. He can not talk because his gum is swollen. According to his mom (Leni Kusrini, 36 years), her son doesn't has oral cavity at the top side. That's why, Ihsan can not eat any thing but porridge, and only drink water. Not only that, Ihsan was born blind, unable to talk and walk. Kidney, heart and lung of Ihsan are also unable to work properly. He is a little boy with only little flesh and bones. He is so thin. Leni does not buy some milk for Ihsan as she does not has any money. She is a maid of a family in that village. Her wage is not enough to buy proper foods for her two sons.
Ihsan's mother live alone after her husband left her with two sons. Her husband left her without any reason when she got her second pregnant. There after, Leni might work hard for his first son and her baby inside her womb. To fulfill her family's clean water, Leni should walk far away to get some clean water. Clean water sources is about 2 kilometers from her house.
Perhaps because of her economical condition and her tough daily house hold, Ihsan was born premature. He was only 6 months before his birth. HIs weight was only 1.6 kilograms at that time. Hence, Ihsan was referenced to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Al-Ihsan Hospital for 28 days. After his weight gained about 2 kilograms, Leni was given permission to bring Ihsan back to her house.
Ihsan is only one of many children who suffers from lack of nutrition because of poverty and lack of clean water supply facility. There are still many other Ihsans in the third world with similar problem. Ihsan who is born from a poor family.

Very sad life.
It's shocking to know such children cannot enjoy life being alive.
And it's heartening to know that the mother takes such a care of the boy with all the love, compassion and hard work.
Such children are, in fact, blessed to have such wonderful and caring mother.
And the father had abandoned this family. His selfishness in this regard is a inhuman act.

Thank you my friends. Now, because of the booming news on printed media in my region, people try to financially contribute Leni's Family. Hope they'll have better condition. But, Ihsan still has to struggle for his life.

You question why some people have to be born that way and wonder why it happens to that one and not you. Thank God for every good life that he gives you and have time to be help those in need. It is preventable, if we care for each other.

Lila, you have me in tears my friend. I will never understand in this day and age, why any child must suffer like this because of, the lack of nutrition. Just so darn sad. I am so happy that people are now helping Ihsan and his family. Thank you for sharing.:)
