Tips to Prevent Toothache

Toothache is actually an unwanted companion which follows you no matter where you are at bus stop, office, school, pub, in the park or at home. You simply cannot ignore it , as it gives you immense pain and you feel that your whole body is paining. You are not able to eat , drink or sleep at all.

A toothache can be sharp, throbbing, shooting, or constant and, if at all it is not treated properly, it will eventually have to be extracted. So to avoid toothaches here are the most important tips to practice at all times.

Avoid frequent small snacks as the practice of eating now and then, is actually very harmful for the teeth. Small snacks produce an acid medium which in turn helps the bacteria to thrive to a great extent. So from now on always remember to rinse your mouth after eating small snacks.

Restrict your sugar intake by reducing the intake of sugary foods and drinks both. Eat them as an occasional treat and if possible at meal times only. Try to add more raw vegetables in your daily diet.

Most of all proper cleaning of teeth on daily basis is essential and at least twice is a must, to prevent tooth decay and consequent toothache.
