Have you ever wished that they made lip gloss in the flavors you like? Well, quit wishing, get to the kitchen, and make your own!
Love your lips.
To make your own lip gloss, you will need:
•1/8 cup vegetable shortening
•1/8 tsp (more or less to taste) of artificial sweetener of your choice, (not required if you don’t want your lip gloss sweet)
•1/8 tsp of Kool-Aid packet flavor of your choice, or cocoa powder, or a few drops of essential oil, or vanilla extract
•small clean container to put your lip gloss in
•craft stick or something similar to stir with
•microwaveable container to melt ingredients in, or small pan for the stovetop
Melt the shortening for a few seconds, making sure to not overdo it. You want it soft, not liquid.
Add the sweetener
Add the flavoring of your choice. (I use the cheap generic Kool-Aid substitute)
Stir until all the ingredients are mixed well.
Let cool.
With the stick, pack the lip gloss into your container.
Go kiss the person of your choice.

I think anything that's edible would be better for you, if accidentally ingested, than a petroleum based product, and it doesn't have an aftertaste.
