Ever had a bad start to your day? Sure you have. We all have! Yet we all have the will and skill in order to turn it all around and yet do something worthwhile and meaningful with the day.

The Bad Start

Just because you woke up late, stubbed your toe, the toothpaste squirted all over the floor, you could not find your car keys. Once you finally got going you got cut up on the journey to work, then upon arrival bumped into the office grouch. All before your day had really started - so what hope do you have of having a good day?

If you believe some people (especially if the day happens to be Friday the 13th) then the best (and only) thing to do is to go back to bed.

Trouble is this is not a reasonable choice

You can Turn it All Around!

The truth is that just because things started out badly does not mean they have to continue that way.

Take a few minutes, meditate or focus in order to restart things positively. You are strong enough to get over these slight 'blips' in your path. These little annoyances in the day do not actually mean anything. Some people make then mean more than they actually do. You must know that things can and indeed will get better even when you have had a rough start to the day. Not only will you thank yourself for doing it but so will everyone around.

Life's obstacles do not have to defeat us if we do not wish them to. There is usually a way to get things done.

This is gret work. I don't really believe in bad days, lthough I've had them. I believe that negitives can be turned around if you just stop and take a breath, think about what you're supposed to be doing and start all over again.

Thanks for this thought, Peter. You're a good man, and I'm not, which is why, like a crystal, the color of your article permeates me.

Thank you, Peter. I am now, thanks to you, remembering that if something unfortunate happens, to look for something positive right away.
