If you recognize that you have low self esteem, you can take actions to improve your self esteem.

How do you improve your self esteem? Do you need professional help to improve self esteem? Do you need to spend a lot of money to improve your self esteem?

Simple ways to improve your self esteem

There are many ways to improve your self esteem without spending money. You do not need professional help to improve self esteem unless you have chronic depression or other mental ailments.

What are the free and easy ways to improve your self esteem?

1. Affirmative action

You can say positive affirmative words to improve your self esteem.

Since you yearn for praises, you can reward yourself by giving praises to yourself.
You can say the following affirmative words every day:

“I am a good person”

“I am a talented singer”

“I am a wise person”

“I am a successful person”

“I can handle stress”

“I can create opportunities to get rich”

“I will smile and be kind to everyone”

2. Reward youself

You do not need to spend money to reward yourself.

You can spend a few minutes to do something that you love.

If you enjoy reading romantic novel, you can spend a hour this evening reading the book. You can tell your family members not to disturb you. You can tell them that you need this hour to feel happy.

You can switch off the TV, and the cell phone. You reward yourself by reading the novel.

You will feel happy, rewarding and liberating to have the courage to do something you like.

3. Look confident

You can act and look confident. Even if you are so terrified due to your low self esteem, you can look as if you own the whole world.

When you start to act confidently, others will view you with a new respect.

As a result, you will improve your self esteem.

4. Stop focusing on yourself

You must learn to stop focusing on yourself and your feelings.

You must learn to look at things from a bigger perspective. You can learn to show interests in others. When you have more friends to confide in you, you will find that everyone has relatively low self esteem. Even those who are so successful in life do not have confidence in their abilities.

When you know that feelings of insecurity is so common, this knowledge will improve your self esteem.

These 4 simple steps can help you to improve your self esteem. However, you need to follow the steps everyday in order to permanently improve your self esteem.

It is all right to doubt your ability and to make mistakes. Do not let the mistakes and self doubt sink your self esteem.
