Most people think they should loose some weight.. But when is the time NOT to exercise?

When it's too much...

Exercise has been one of the most talked about ways of losing weight. Ever since “aerobics” gained popularity in the early 1980s, exercise programs and techniques have been springing up like mushrooms after a rainy day.

Now, if you’re one of those people who easily get carried away by promise of quick weight loss and small waist lines in a flash, beware.

Although the advantages of exercise are many and has proven scientific basis, some people tend to over-exercise themselves, thinking that the harder they work-out, the faster they’ll lose weight.

Some misguided people do hours of work-out or running and other physical activities even at questionable times of the day, or night, only to be surprised by the bathroom scale. Well, that extra pound has to have come from somewhere—a faulty exercise regimen.

Doctors, physical therapists, and certified trainers emphasize the need of a regular daily exercise with a balanced diet.

Yes, as cliché as it may sound, it is actually true.

I guess people today are just so into the “instant culture” that we forget that some things take good old-fashioned time and discipline.

So be sure to know your body and its limitations before you engage in any weight loss or exercise program that promises doubtful results.

Thank you Tranquilpen! Yup. I know of a lot of people who blindly diet and exercise and making them sick in the end. It's sad that most people think that they need to lose weight to socially accepted...
