This is a simple and effective routine that I have nearly completed. It is excellent for those of us with a minimum of time, space, an equipment.

30 Burpee Challenge

First, I am not a trainer or doctor. I am a fitness nut. I find things and try them out, more often than not changing fitness programs to fit me and my schedule. That being said, I have been issued a challenge.

This challenge, the Burpee Challenge, is done 5 days per week, weekends off, for 1 month. You start with 5 burpees on day 1 and add 5 more burpees each week day. At the end of Week 1 you are doing 25 repetions. Week 2 will see you doing 50, then 75, and the final week will end with you doin 100 of these excellent exercises.

How to perform this simple and effective calorie burning, muscled strengthening exercises is simple. First, stand straight up with your hands at your sides. Next, squat down and place your hands on the ground next to your feet. The , kick your feet straight back so you look like your going to do a push-up. You're not doing push-ups, so don't get excited. From this position you quickly pull your feet back to where they started, near your hands. Finally, you jump up as high as you can. Got that? Good. Now do four more to complete your first set of 5.

If you have ANY joint problems, heart issues, or any reason your doctor would slap you for doing this, don't. Otherwise, have fun and post both your starting numbers and your finishing nbers where you can see yourself hanging and getting healthier.

My numbers today are 212 pounds, 20% body fat. I did my first 5 this afternoon. I am also jogging with my kids, doing push-ups and pull-ups, jumping rope, and generally over doing it. So, please, let's know what this does for you at the end of the month.
