Skin becomes dry and stretchy during winters. Here are a few tips to ensure that your skin stays supple even during this time:

-If you have a daily regime of cleansing, moisturising and applying a sunscreen, you need to follow it religiously.

-Experts advise that one should have lots of amla in winters. A combination of protein-rich diet and Vitamin C works wonders.

-Don't bathe in very hot water. Instead, use lukewarm water.

-Instead of using face washes, apply a mixture of curd/milk/malai with a pinch of turmeric or besan on the face and wash it after a few minutes.

-Drink at least two litres of water daily. Eating nuts, especially almonds and walnuts is essential.
