How do you attract money? This is a question that most of us want the answer to. Money brings good and evil in this world and that is a part of the challenge of attracting money. Yet this attraction is in many ways a reflection of how we live with those around us. Ultimately this will assist you in living your purpose.

The Money Magnet?

Having written about attracting money in this series it seemed appropriate to update that with something I have recently found on this subject. Although as an aside I would say that there are more things in life we should consider our first priority than a basic desire for money.

One of the sad aspects about money is that we need it to live and to pursue many things we wish to do in life. Sometimes people's focus on money leads to greed - a desire to accumulate wealth at the expense of all those around them. Money may be a necessary part of modern society, but it can also generate evil spirits within some people because they have it, or indeed because they do not.

This is a balance we have to understand at all times when discussing the subject of money. Society often views the millionaire entrepreneur as the ultimate success, and conveniently forgets that they may have achieved such success by clawing it away from those who toiled to make their dream possible (the penny pinching boss?). It is valid to desire money, but not have it at the expense of other people can never be good - the reward should be shared.

10 Ways to Become a Money Magnet

Here they are:

  1. Radiate out goodness.
  2. Be giving of your time and energy.
  3. Speak abundance with others
  4. Think abundance.
  5. Make peace with your past and future.
  6. Be appreciative and thank your money for providing for you.
  7. Surround yourself with what you want mote of.
  8. Follow your creativity, intuition, and imagination.
  9. Live with an open heart.
  10. Live your purpose.

In essence although this list was about money, it parallels many of the ideals portrayed in this series. In and of themselves each make good themes; some may be future entries in this series.

Goodness; Giving; and Abundance

Three things stand out clearly from this list: goodness; giving; and abundance; and these we should always pay close attention to. It has been said on many occasions that what you radiate out is returned to you and that usually starts in the area of goodness, giving and abundance. We should always give positive messages, yet also the truth needs to be faced - even when it is bad.

To give in order to receive is a basic facet of our society, yet it is not understood by all. Indeed there are many who take without any form of giving; for these people the only time they think about giving is when Christmas approaches. Sadly the culture of take, bullying, greed, and profit at others expense is all too prevalent at all levels in our society. This leads to some of the worst excesses of human nature.

Instead it needs to be combined with goodwill and a need to create synergy - listen to the needs of others in order to be understood yourself.

On top of all of this the need for an attitude of abundance. Despite the problems you may face in life if you have an attitude of abundance then it places your mindframe with the right approach to life and that is so very important. From the combination of goodwill and the attitude of abundance it is possible to live a more giving life, and what you give is often worth more than money itself.

Live Your Purpose

Money comes not because you desire it in and of itself, it is attracted to you when you are in alignment with your purpose in life. Reach that state and the money will start to flow.

This is a part of a series of inspirational thoughts provided for each day of the year. Each demonstrates a way of exploring you own potential, of making change in some small way. They are designed both to provide encouragement and offer a source for personal inspiration for the journey that you are making. This series is meant as a guide to action, nothing more.

You can make a contribution as well!

Part of self improvement also involves giving. I am confident that you too can make a powerful contribution. One way to express yourself is by joining Wikinut and become an active writer. Click here for more information.

I do agree that as we should always project sincerity and generosity. There is nothing to lose if we observe "good, common sense":
