Some people just can't bring themselves to throw stuff away.

Everything Into an Over Stuffed House

Hoarding is when people feel the need to collect and keep stuff. Hoarders very rarely throw things away. There houses are stuffed with endless amounts of things they do not actually need. They are often in denial about the problem and don’t see anything wrong with what they are doing.

Personal I don’t see the obsession with keeping useless junk. Probably because I like thing neat and tidy.

In Denial - Bernie doesn’t think she has a problem despite her house bursting at the seems and her grandson having no where to crawl. Her daughter is threatening to leave with her son unless her mother cleans up the house. Bernie wants to keep her family but she doesn’t know if she can bring herself to throw anything out.

A Family Of Hoarders - One married couple is as bad as each other. Its so bad they don’t even sleep in the same bed, the husband sleeps in the basement and the wife using the other side of the bed to hoard more stuff. Surprising the couple to not like each other’s hoarding habits because it interferes with their own hoarding.

Alfie - He knows he has a problem and it comes from issues in his childhood. His roommate moved out 10 years ago because things got so bad and Alfie hasn’t had anyone else over to the house seen. He really wants to clean up so he can entertain at home again. His apartment is so bad that he can’t even shower in his own home.

I am no where near as bad as the examples above, but I do need to have a real thinning out on a regular basis. Now that I have less money to spend, I am definitely better!
