Almost a third of people who were diagnosed ADHD in childhood suffer from it later in life. Their chances for developing mental disorders and even suicides are higher

ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder)

ADHD is a condition characterized by a very high level of motor activity as a manifestation of a very high activity of the mind. Although ADHD is considered as a disorder, it isn't. People with ADHD are often highly intelligent and highly imaginative. Fitting the normal rules and regulations of society around them make people with ADHD unsuitable in some way... ADHD is usually identified with hyperactivity.

How to recognize ADHD syndrome ?

ADHD syndrome is usually noticed at the very first beginning of children's education through visible problems such as inattention, poor concentration, very quickly annoyance, disinterest in school work, daydreaming, impulsivity and general discomfort. Such children quickly fall behind in the adoption of regular school curriculum not because of their intellectual abilities but mainly because of the general lack of understanding, disregarding the differences and ways of working in schools that foster uniformity. Unfortunately, no one makes sure that each child is a world unto itself on only their own special way. For children with ADHD syndrome is hard to live in world like this. Children with ADHD syndrome easily wander into their inner worlds.. Soon they become criticized and ridiculed by other people, even by their own parents because of not knowing how to deal with the problem. The worst in all this story is that there is a real danger for this kids because when they're in adolescence they can easily enter in the world full of drugs, alcohol and delinquent behavior because of fear, inferiority complex, depression, low self-esteem which would often manifest through an arrogant and aggressive appearance.

How to raise a child with ADHD syndrome ?

In books you can find a number of instructions and tips how to deal with children with ADHD syndrome. But I want to emphasize the relevance of the way of reacting to child to develop positive relationships and contact with the child and the child's relationship with itself which is essential for a healthy foundation for further growth and development.

- Speak with your child about his/her positive traits and values and not about how uncomfortable you are with his/her behavior
-Treat bad behaviors as an exception, with the message that your child is basically well

-Teach your child self-control instead of you controlling him/her. Give your child as many options to choose and decide as you can

-Massage your child. Children are often tense, and touch relaxes them, soothes and gives them a sense of security, helps them in concentration.

-Listen to your child, when it talks to you, but really, listen. When children feel that they are listened and taken seriously, they somehow manage to minimize their ''hyperactive'' behavior.

- Give positive messages in negative situations

Although requiring more parental effort, these children may provide great pleasures to their parents.
You can get from the vicious circle !

I know for a lot of kids attention problems and hyperactivity, are linked to diet, mostly red and yellow food dyes. The UK has taken efforts to reduce these dyes in their foods but the USA seems to use them in nearly everything!

I just kept myself busy starting 4am in the morning till about 9pm. It was always back to back and action packed although I did injure myself because of my boisterous nature back then.
Learnt to tame it with music and meditation and till date I excel in whatever I do and have a good night sleep every night. Thanks to a jampacked day..... Not too hard its a choice I love it....
