But.. do you think thestalkers realize they are stalkers? I suspect such people are angry, and not aware they are stalkers, they do not think they are doing anything wrong.. sure some do.. but I bet many think their actions are justified.

Hi Mark. Thank you for commenting. Deep down inside folks know when their doing something wrong. They do think they are justified. But a still small voice tells them they aren't. They hide and don't come in the open. That fact alone I think, says they know they are wrong. I've had two stalkers in my life. When they get caught, that's when they admit they were wrong. When they are not caught and not confronted, they can pretend they are justified. Yet, individual cases seem to vary. When they are able to continue, undetected, they can keep on pretending it's O.K. That's why I say, the best advice for cyber-stalkers is to get psychiatric help. They may be far gone in their efforts to pretend their justified. Maybe this article may send them into shame. Most article we see on the net offer help only to victims. That's not fair or empowering. They are very, very angry.

Brilliant Marlene! It doesn't get any better than this. This is a very strong and well-presented article. My cyberstalker has added herself again to my page on Triond. The question still is: did she get banned from triond or what? I agree with mark gordon brown.

Thanks so much shining Star. I don't think Triond bans anyone. That is probably the main problem.

and how do you suggest I get help? I'm underage and cant go to a counselor without my parents finding out (something I want to avoid). I actually talked to the girl I stalk and she really doesnt seem to care, it's kinda weird. she still wont go out with me but she's sympathetic.
