3) Ayurveda suggests balanced diet, yoga, meditation and massage therapy for treating anxiety disorders.

1) Ayurveda suggests a lot of home remedies for anxiety disorders. Ashwagandha, well known for its relaxing effects on the nervous system, is a widely used herb in Ayurvedic medicine. It has numerous other important benefits also to boost immunity and natural health.

2) Nutmeg, which is a natural sedative, can calm down the nerves and help reducing heart palpitations and feelings of anxiety.

3) Herbs such as kava (piper methysticum), valerian, passionflower, etc. are also used by Ayurveda as herbal remedies for anxiety disorders.

I feel we should know our limits. Most are out to eke out a living, not after a path-breaking scientific discovery. Reduce greed to the level anxiety levels are in control - that will act as balm to most of our ills. Thanks VP for a soothing post - siva
