Get going in the morning...it gets tough sometimes. However, you can make things work if you develop a routine. Here is a look at one such routine.

Beating those Morning blues

Never has a morning defeated me…yet. I have a couple of tricks that work wonderfully well for me. Some are my own, some given by my family members and friends.

Have you ever tried to hold a blazing log in your bare hands? You just let go, don’ t you. Sunshine in the morning creates that kind of feeling in me. So, let us put that down at number one. The next one just happens automatically.
1) Sunshine in the morning
2) Coffee (where is my coffee?)
3) Jogging
4) Shower
My mom is responsible for the second item on the menu. She hollers out and then morning has broken. Here we meet briefly and a cup changes hands. A new champion is born.

Jogging is an acquired taste and I acquired mine from my father. It gives me a fresh look at the day ahead of me and I think, “Ah here it is… God’s gift to me” and somehow that day works out splendidly for me.

Perhaps the most refreshing thing in the morning is the shower. It takes out all sleepiness, worries, and creates a new aspect of life everyday. Wonder how it happens!

I try to spend some time planning out the day. Invariably I do it in my head and forget about it within the hour. But still, some of it remains and I have a good perspective of time. It is very useful when you want to make up excuses for avoiding a meeting or doing household chores.

Every day must begin every day has something in store. So, go and get it before it is all sold.

Sunshine, coffee, and a shower. This is a great way to beat those morning blues. (I would have included jogging, but that is something I don't do--I have other morning exercises that I incorporate into my morning routine).

Sure thing, I love mornings with coffee. I like jogging too but do not find time for it. Guess we all compromise somewhere sometime.
