Your hair puts up with a lot; blow drying, straightening, curling, dying, washing, brushing the list is endless! So it's easy to see why all this styling may cause dull, dry and damaged locks. However, by following some simple tips you can reduce and improve your crowning glory so you always look your best.

10 easy tips for healthy hair everyday

1: Dry hair. If your hair is feel on the extra dry side try using your conditioner before washing. Simply massage the conditioner into the dry hair paying attention to the ends, leave for ten minutes then wash with a gentle shampoo.

2: Dry naturally. When possible allows your hair to dry naturally to restore hair health, rather than using the hair dryer. Using a leave in conditioner when doing this will also help improve any dry ends.

3: Nozzle away frizz. Prevent frizz and flyaway hairs when blow drying by using the nozzle attachment. This will allow you to dry in sections without causing the other areas to frizz.

4: Silky Shine. A silk scarf may be used to boost hairs natural shine by smoothing down the follicles. Simply wrap a scarf around your hairbrush and gently smooth over your hair.

5: Foam Curls. Avoid heat damage of hot rollers by using bendy foam curlers. Apply a little setting lotion, wind your hair around the curlers and leave overnight.

6: Silicone. A drop of silicone serum will help smooth the hair cuticle and add shine to dry hair.

7: Detangle. A simple children's hair detangle spray is an excellent and inexpensive way to prevent damage to hair from brushing. They also smell wonderful too!

8: Jojoba oil. Natural oils are a great way to treat dry damaged hair, use as a weekly treatment by massaging into dry ends, wrap hair in a warm towel, leave for 10 to 15 minutes before washing.

9: Milk. When straightening hair it's advisable to use a protection spray, however if you should run out then milk makes a great natural straightener, simply spritz the milk onto hair when it is still damp, let it set for 15 minutes before rinsing.

10: Aloe Vera. Smooth and reduce frizz without weighing your hair down by using a small dap of aloe Vera gel. Simply rub the gel into your finger tips a run through your hair.
