Benefits of Curd

Curd which is also known as Yogurt is a dairy product which is rich source of carbohydrates and other useful nutrients. It is prepared by fermentation of milk by an enzyme called “Lactobacillius”. There are many health benefits of curd and some of them are:-

(1) Curd is very beneficial for curing diseases like Jaundice.

(2) Studies and surveys have proved that curd is beneficial for reducing the risk of high blood pressure.

(3) Beneficial for making teeth and bones stronger because of its high calcium content.

(4) Curd helps in proper digestion of food and cures stomach infection because of presence of friendly bacteria in curd.

(5) Helpful in Insomnia- Curd is beneficial for the people suffering from Insomnia. Consuming curd and applying it on the forehead results into better sleep.

(6) Curd increases the Pyuric and lactic acid among children who are on typical poor rice diet.

(7)Curd is also useful for the treatment of eczema and other skin disorders.

So, now we are aware of all the benefits of curd so its time for us to start having curd in our diet on regular basis.

I have found curd to be very beneficial in digestion and also cooling in summers.
