Lemons have many health benefits, this is mainly due to the nourishing vitamins they contain (vitamin C, vitamin B and phosphorous). The Lemon is a fruit that contains flavonoids. Flavonoids are composites that contain antioxidant, these benefits may help to prevent constipation, high blood pressure, indigestion and skin problems.

Natural Health: Lemons

Skin Care: Lemon juice is naturally antiseptic making it suitable for problem skin. The juice can be applied to reduce the swelling of pimples and used to aid the healing of acne and blackheads. Drinking lemon juice mixed with hot water and honey may even bring a healthy glow to your skin.

Hair Care: When Lemon juice is applied to the scalp it has been shown to treat problems such as dandruff or itching. It is also useful in giving your hair a natural shine.

Foot Relaxation: Lemon has a wonderful aromatic and antiseptic benefits. This makes it an excellent treatment for relaxing tired, sore feet. Simply add some lemon juice to warm water and dip your feet in the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.

Corn treatment: Lemon juice has citrus qualities and this can help dissolve lumps on the skin. Apply to places of hardened up skin, such as the soles of feet, elbows and the palms of your hands.

Lemon essential oil is an excellent, simple way to add an uplifting aroma to your beauty regime.
