Everyone in the modern world wants to be fit and smart. Everyone wants and tries to appear fit in front of others. Beauty is the talk of the day. But most of the people fail in their efforts. Why?

Beauty is the talk of the day

The modern world is facing the age of fitness. Everyone wants to be fit and smart. Beauty is the talk of the day. Media is making the people mad after fitness-look. Foods that are consumed, dress worn, even behavior of individuals are based on the fitness concept!

Globalized world has become more consumerist and people of the modern days are more worried about their fitness-look than it was at any other time in history. The world has shrunk into a small globule with faster communication. People meet one another often. Today, the ideas are exchanged faster than ever in the past. Hence, there is no wonder that everyone wants to keep his/her body fit and beautiful.

Media plays the trick

Millions of fitness ideas are available in the media and Internet, suggesting people to set goals for their fitness. People strive hard to reach those goals. But it is a great question if they succeed in their efforts? Why do most of them fail to reach the fitness goals?

People want to appear before other slim and smart. The increase in their waistline makes them feel ashamed. With great anxiety they start to control themselves to achieve a fitting body. But the mistakes that they make do not allow them to reach their goals, however hard they work for it.

Common mistakes commonly committed

Common mistakes that people commit in their pursuit of fitness:

1) Most of the people view their fitness regimen only as temporary. They fix a deadline date to reach the goal and they discontinue their efforts after that period, although they could reach the goal to some extend. Keeping oneself fit needs continuous efforts. This can happen only in a continuous and regular dietary regimen.

2) Focusing on the negative often pulls them back. They are easily discouraged and almost in 98% of the people discontinue their efforts.

3) They dwell more on failure than trying it the next time positively. Constant efforts and positive follow-up only can reach the goals successfully.

It is correct to set deadlines, only then we know how much we progress on a daily basis. Thanks for the article.

Thanks VP. In Asia people work out in air-conditioned gyms but it would be more rewarding to all if they take to the open field to do some real work, like farming, and stay fit thereby - siva
