Pizza, a quick, easy meal choice that everyone loves. The beauty of pizza is that it is such a simple way to feed the family. Unfortunately we often associate pizza with unhealthy, fast food. The good news is, it doesn't have to be that way. By choosing healthy bread for your base and low fat, dairy free cheese you can tailor you pizza to your needs and tastes.

Quick, Easy Dairy Free Turkey rasher Pizza

Turkey Rasher Pizza

You'll need:
1. Turkey Rashers 65g finely chopped
2. Pitta bread 85g
3. 4 tablespoons of grated Dairy free, low fat cheese
4. 1 tablespoon of finely chopped parsley (optional)
5. Chopped bell peppers
6. Tomato paste

Method:
1. Begin by preheating the oven to 180°C or 160°C for a fan oven.
2. Place the bread on a pizza tray and add the tomato paste, spread.
3. Top with grated cheese and peppers. Leave to one side.
4. Chop the turkey rashers into chunks and fry quickly using a low fat cooking spray.
5. Top the pizza with the turkey and place in the oven to cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
6. Once ready sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with a fresh leafy salad.

Tip: using fresh vegetables is a great way to get some of your five a day. Always opt for small portion sizes, low fat cheese and healthier lean meats such as turkey. The great think about this recipe is you can be as creative as you like, it's very simple.
