Looking for a quick, simple recipe for a healthy tasty treat. This strawberry dairy free milkshake is an excellent way to get some vitamins without having to worry about extra fat and calories.

Dairy Free strawberry Milkshake

Fresh Strawberry Milkshake

Strawberry milkshake with a twist, made with dairy free Almond milk. Naturally lower in calories than cows milk, this choice makes and excellent healthy drink that's full of natural goodness and flavour.

Serves: 4 x 300ml glasses

You will need:

450g of fresh strawberries
560ml of unsweetened Almond Milk
½ a 500ml tub of soya Strawberry yoghurt or Ice Cream

Preparation Method:

Begin by washing the strawberries and removing the stalks
liquidise the strawberries by blending or sieve to a smooth purée.
Pour 560ml of chilled Almond Milk into the strawberry purée and blend together.
Add ½ a 500ml tub of soya Strawberry yoghurt or Cream and blend for 30 seconds.
To serve pour into a tall glass and garnish with extra strawberries

Tip: Best consumed after making as it doesn't keep well due to the fresh ingredient. However you may pour any left overs into a ice lolly mould and freeze. This will make a delicious treat that keeps up to two weeks.
