Each day you should consume 8-10 8 ounce glasses of water a day. Drinking a glass of water before you eat your meal will help you feel fuller while eating. Drinking the amount of water each day will help you keep you gaining any water weight.

Fruits and vegetables

Your diet should consist of five servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Adding these into your diet every day will help you feel fuller and lose weight. Fruits and vegetables are easy to put into your diet in a variety of ways: soup, cereal or yogurt. They make wonderful snacks in between each meal and are extremely convenient.


There are several diet bars on the market you can eat as a snack between meals. These are very convenient to carry with you wherever you are to help you be successful. There are a variety of flavors and brands that you can choose from to enjoy: Slim Fast, Full Bars or South Beach Diet Bars. These are filled with nutrients to help you get your necessary vitamins and keep you feeling fuller longer.


Including foods with high fiber is excellent for your diet. Foods high in fiber force you to chew your food longer. This will help you get the feeling of fullness in a timely manner. Foods that are high in fiber are: cereals, nuts, and beans. Adding these foods to your diet will help you on the road to success.


Eggs are a great food. They are easy to cook and high in protein. Eating a diet that is higher in protein helps you feel fuller for a long period of time. When eating eggs take the yolk out to reduce the fat and calories you are consuming. You can add vegetables to egg whites and make yourself healthy omelets.

Shakes or smoothies

Using healthy ingredients to create a healthy shake or smoothie is a great alternative to a full meal. Using fat free yogurt, frozen fruit, wheat germ and water blend until smooth. This will be a delicious replacement meal filled with nutrients.

Lose weight

Adding healthy foods to your diet can help you lose weight. Combine a healthy diet with exercise and you will reach your goal weight before you know it.
