Diet control is not skipping meals. You need to eat meals. You have to get nutrition and energy for your body and mind. Many people think that skipping meals, especially breakfast is healthy for their weight control.
The fact is otherwise. Skipping breakfast may increase your weight! It will increase your waistline.
It is a popular belief, even today, that by skipping morning breakfast people can reduce weight and can keep their weight in control. But it is a wrong notion. The result of this habit has been just the opposite, which has been proven by several studies.

Researchers reveal

Researchers have revealed that skipping breakfast increases the risk of obesity 4-5 times, compared to others. A study at the University of Texas at El Paso has found that substantial breakfast eaters consumed an average of 100 fewer calories than when they skipped breakfast.

Why eating breakfast is important?


1) Breakfast or brunch is the most important meal of the day since it provides you with the energy and nutrients that gives you physical strength to work and mental focus to concentrate.
2) It increases your metabolism, provides sufficient energy for your body and maintains your weight in the optimum level.
3) Breaking fast has a great significance. You have been fasting for a long duration of time and the body needs the energy for the day.
4) After the night’s rest the organs of the body need energy for the functions. Breakfast supplies the needed energy.

Do not skip your breakfast and endanger your health.

Indeed, a healthy breakfast is a must for a healthy body and mind, and not just from the point of view of decreasing or increasing weight.

I never did think that skipping meals was good for diet control...the right nutrients and moderate amounts of coffee, soda, etc. is what we should cut out...not meals...good post vpaulose...
