Did you ever wonder why you dream the things you do? Maybe there is some hidden emotion hidden in the dreams, this could help to discover why.

What It Might Mean

I see dreams as little windows peeking into our innermost feelings and desires. They can really give us a more understanding view of what is going on in our lives and what things might make us afraid or scared. They also can help guide us through difficult situations through our lives and to help us to see and think more clearly.

When we dream of taking a shower or bath, we might be trying to tell ourselves something through our unconscious mind, sometimes the phrase, “sleeping on it” really does come in handy. These suggestions might be what your unconscious mind is trying to tell you.

Starting New

When you dream about taking a bath or shower, it might possibly be a sign that you feel you need to purify or start fresh. When we bathe, it’s a feeling of renewal and freshness so by dreaming this, it gives you the feeling of starting new.

Eat Cleaner or Exercise More

It may also be that you feel you need to eat cleaner, fresher foods. Not necessarily detoxing, but to eat healthier. Also exercising is a form of renewal and cleansing, so maybe you want or are trying to start a new exercise regime.

When you are dreaming of showering or bathing, it can mean that you are needing to forgive someone or you need to be forgiven. Forgiveness is a form of showering away negative feelings and guilt. That incident can be forgiven by being rinsed away, giving you the chance to start new.

Felling Vulnerable

If you are dreaming of showering or bathing and it leaks or overflows, this can signify that you have unresolved emotions leaking into your reality. The overflowing or leaking water is emotion in your real life and you feel like you can’t control it or stop it.

Taking a bath or shower may also be a sign that you feel vulnerable or exposed in your real life. This makes sense because we need to unclothe to shower or bathe. Maybe you feel like you need to work on your self-esteem or confidence.

These are just a few of the suggestions of why you are dreaming of bathing or showering, hopefully it will give you a better understanding of what’s going on in your real life.

Very interesting Dibrat, dear one. We do have what is called "The Law of Forgiveness" for forgiveness is a process in order for it to work both ways, but you are correct when you say that the soul is being encouraged when he or she thinks of taking a bath or a shower that a cleanliness of that sort is needed.

Good work. Great article!

It seems that when my daughter was very, very sick (she is getting better now) that my dreams were about her and that God may have been trying to tell me something...that it will work out. Great work Dina.

Dreams have given me pointers and tips when I was deep in problems that had no solutions while I was awake. Then through dreams some answers came that showed clearly what to do. Yes, cleansing of our thoughts and actions are a must just like when we take showers to clean our outer shell. Noce share, Dibrat - siva
