Exercising indoors or outdoors? Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Where do you prefer to workout... Inside or Outside? I believe to stay healthy you should choose one or the other OR both! Here are some advantages to working out indoors and outdoors.

Exercising indoors or outdoors? Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Do you workout in your home, in a gym or outside? Which do you think is better? They are both great as far as I'm concerned; as long as your moving, you are on your way to better health. Instead of taking time to say “it's too hot out”, “What if I walk to the store and I don't feel like walking back?”, blah blah blah. Just make a choice. If you are someone who hates the hot or the cold then an indoor workout is for you on those muggy days and on those freezing days. It's all up to you.

Advantages to exercising indoors - At home

You don't have to waste time or gas driving to a gym
You can pick and choose which exercise routine you want to do that day (exercise DVD's, cardiovascular, weight training)
You don't have to bring all your work clothes and take a shower at the gym, etc.
Good weather always because you are in control of your climate

Advantages to exercising indoors - At the gym

For people who don't have their own gym equipment, there's plenty of equipment and options available from cardiovascular machines to strength training equipment to aerobics classes in some.
If you have any questions, trained professionals are there to help.
For some with large families or children, Privacy or your time.
You paid for it now use it.
Usually good climate control
Prices are much cheaper than they were before

Advantages to exercising outdoors

Beautiful scenery
On nice days: beautiful weather/climate; fresh air
You can take a different route every day
It's FREE – No monthly membership fees
You can get back to nature (swim, climb, jump, run – be a kid again)

Just pick one to stay healthy

My advice to you is choose one and know that whichever works for you is the right choice. Whatever you choose to do - Have fun!

I prefer outdoor exercise, I live in the country so lots of fresh air.
