What causes eye diseases?

Eyes are of the valued parts of human body. Eyes are your windows to the world, and everybody knows the romantic role of eyes :) Many factors might contribute in eye infliction. Environmental pollution is one of the factors but negligent attitude of people about their eye health is also of the most important factors which cause the rise in number of people suffering from eye diseases. Some eye diseases might affect eyesight if not treated well.
We all know that the back of the eye is the most sensitive part of the human body. When light enters the eye and stimulates the optic nerve head and this is transfered through the optic nerve to the brain cells this occurs by changing light photons into electric particles go through an electric circle. In the process of converting light into electric circle free radicals elaborate which are toxic to the back of the eye and over time and that causes the formation of truse on the back of the eye . To prevent or to slowdown the progress of this truse we need some antioxidant materials such as vitamin E. For good vision we need to eat some foods that contain vitamin A.
