Foods for Healthy Eyes!

The eyes are the lamp of your body, when your eyes are healthy, the whole body is healthy. So you must take care of your eyes with healthy diets, less exposure to the sun, no smoking and managing your time you spend on the computer.

Foods for the eyes!

Apricot is very rich with vitamin A, which protects the eyes from damage done by the free radicals in the body; it also helps to enrich your vision.

Orange is rich with vitamin C which helps to eliminate free radicals that causes damages to the eyes and protect them.

Spinach is rich with lutein which protects the eyes from cataracts and muscular degeneration disease.

Carrot is rich with vitamin A, antioxidants, and beta - carotene which helps to maintain healthy eyes. The lack of vitamin A can cause night blindness.

Egg is a super eye food, because it is rich with cysteine, lecithin,
sulphur. amino acids and lutein.These nutrition's keep the eyes healthy and protected them and from developing cataracts.

Onion is rich with sulphur, which helps to make the lens of the eyes strong and resilient. It is also excellent for improving eyesight.

Yoghurt is rich with fatty acids and vitamin E, which is a natural anti-inflammatory agent that protects the eyes.

Salmon is very rich with omega -3 fatty acid, which is very good for protecting the eyes and keeping them healthy.

Hi Hope. Nice opening paraphrasing the Holy scriptures. I eat all the foods you listed except for yoghurt--I hate yoghurt. :-))

Thanks for your lovely comments. I hated it as well until I had the frozen ones in America .
