Belly fat can be reduced by exercising and eating food that help to burn belly fat. Here is a list of foods that help to burn belly fat -

Avocados

Avocados are rich in monosaturated fats that specially act on belly fat and effectively help reduce it. The healthy monosaturated fatty acids (MUFA) that is present in avocados are responsible for burning the belly fat.

Avocados also have high amounts of potassium, magnesium, folate, protein, vitamin B 6, E and K that help to increase the overall metabolism of the body thereby helping to burn more fat.

Olive oil helps to burn belly fat by aiding in the effective metabolism of fat and sugar so that fat does not accumulate around the belly area. Olive oil also helps to control blood sugar levels by lowering insulin resistance and by preventing the onset of Type 2 diabetes.

The polyphenols present in olive oil helps the body to secrete a hormone called adinopectin that regulates the metabolism of fat and sugar and helps to burn more belly fat.

Vegetables

Vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale and cabbage have phytonutrients that help to burn belly fat.

Chemicals in our food, in the environment, petrochemicals, cleaning agents, cosmetics, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, plastic etc., can react with the body system and make the body store excess belly fat. These chemicals are known as xenoestrogens.

Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale and cabbage have very specific phytonutrients that fight against xenoestrogens and dissolve belly fat.

Two small pieces of dark chocolate is okay for a day! Not all chocolates are good for health and too many chocolates is not good too.
