As temperatures begin to drop, a host of troubles like sinusitis, coughs, colds and body aches will begin to make their presence felt. But you can fight them all.


It boosts immunity and regulates blood sugar.

Powder a half inch stick and add to two cups of water.Boil till it reduces to half.Drink this tea with half a teaspoon of honey or by itself.


It fights cold and coughs. It boosts immunity also.

Add honey to a decoction of cinnamon or ginger.


They raise the body temperature naturally.

Roast one tablespoon of flaxseeds tightly and add them to your breakfast cereal.


It should be consumed more in winters.It is widely used around the world for its pungent flavor as a seasoning or condiment.

Garlic can be added to soups or vegetables.


Winters are the best time to eat walnuts as they are very healthy.

Presoak them,remove the skin and eat one a day.
