Pranic healing a science and an art

Alternative healing systems which are based on a complete system of ideas and practice is gaining more and more popularity and considered a better way of life. Pranic healing is one such system which was widely practiced in the ancient civilizations of China, Egypt and India. The system however is masked in mystery since it was practiced very secretively for fear of misuse.
Pranic healing is an ancient science and an art of healing which utilizes prana or ki or vital energy to heal the physical body. Prana means energy, the life force that keeps us alive. It also involves in manipulation of ki and bioplasmic matter of the patient’s body. The human body is composed of two parts – the visible physical body which we see, touch and are most acquainted with and the invisible luminous energy body which interpenetrates the visible physical body and extends beyond it by four or five inches called the bioplasmic body. Clairvoyants call this energy body the etheric body or etheric double. Modern Kirlian photography has shown that disease first appears in the bioplasmic body before it manifests in the physical body. Mostly just by treating the bioplasmic body, physical body can be cured of the illness. It is very much easier and faster to heal the disease when it is still in the bioplasmic body and has not manifested in the visible physical body. The Pranic healer follows the process of cleansing the bioplasmic body and transfers prana into the patient’s body for effective healing.

Sources and benefits of prana

There are three major sources of prana: solar prana, air prana and ground prana. Solar prana is prana from sunlight and invigorates the whole body thereby promoting good health. This can be obtained by exposure to sunlight or sunbathing and by drinking water that has been exposed to sunlight. Too much exposure to solar prana can harm the physical body. Prana contained in the air is called air prana which is absorbed through breathing and by the energy centers of the bioplasmic body. These energy centers are called chakras. Prana contained in the ground is called ground prana and absorbed through the soles of the feet which is obtained automatically. Walking bare feet increases the amount of ground prana absorbed by the body.
Water absorbs prana from sunlight, air and ground so do plants, animals and human. This prana can be projected for healing by a person who has excess prana. On the other hand, people who are depleted of energy absorb prana from another person which is why sometimes you feel drained and exhausted in the company of few people.

Acquiring and practicing the skill of pranic healing

Anyone with an average intelligence, ability to concentrate, have a discriminating mind and a certain degree of persistence can learn to practice pranic healing. An essential device required to perform pranic healing is two hands. The basic principles and techniques can be learnt in just a few sessions and the rest depends on the ability to perform through earnest practice.
There are two basic principles of pranic healing: cleansing and energizing. However, to execute the healing there are seven basic techniques as follows which the healer has to abide by:
1. Sensitizing the hand
2. Scanning the inner aura
3. Sweeping: localized and general
4. Increase the receptivity of the patient
5. Energize with prana using hand chakra technique
6. Stabilizing the projected prana
7. Releasing the projected pranic energy
However, a pranic healer should stay away from healing when he/she is going through health problems to avoid transferring diseased bioplasmic matter or energy to the patient. Another condition the healer should evade is when he/she is feeling irritated or angry because the projected energy will be contaminated with anger and irritation. Pranic healing is absolutely safe as long as the instructions and guideline are followed accurately.
