Cheese is a very healthy food that many people enjoy eating in many different ways. Find out the health benefits as well as some ways to spice up your dishes using the different varities of cheeses. Perhaps you too have a few suggestions in ways cheese can be eaten.

Cheese is a healthy dairy food

Cheese is one of the best dairy foods that people have used for centuries and all around the world. Cheese can be eaten just as it is or added to other foods. One of the most popular dishes is Macaroni and Cheese. Children enjoying eating this dish and it is very healthy. Today cheese is made as slices, powders, cubes, shredded, crumbled, sticks, and spreads. Cheese provides the calcium recommended in our diet. For those who are lactose intolerant cheese is a great substitute. Such cheeses as Swiss or Cheddar are aged and contain very little lactose.

Cheese offers many health benefits that most people are not even aware of today. Some of the benefits are:
• Calcium
• Protein
• Phosphorus
• Zinc
• Vitamins A and Vitamin B12
These nutrients are very important in your diet but many people do not consume enough foods to put the nutrient in the diet. There are over 300 varieties of cheeses that you can select from and enjoy eating. These cheeses are great to help you select the just the right flavors and add the necessary nutrients to your diets. Reduce calories from cheeses by grating the harder cheeses and sprinkling them over your favorite dishes.

Foods that are popular for Cheeses

We are probably all familiar with Pizza which is one of the most popular foods in America today. You can use popular cheeses for your favorite Pizza dish. Many people like using Casio Cheese on their tacos, enchiladas, and other Mexican dishes. Of course, the Italians have favored us with many delicious dishes which you are able to use your favorite cheese. Spaghetti is a favorite dish that many folks like sprinkling on Parmesan cheese. Lasagna is another favorite dish that is enjoyed and can be made with several different flavored cheeses. We are all familiar with Salads and many of us like shredded cheese on top of our Salads. This is very healthy along with adding hard boiled eggs to make an excellent healthy dish. The “Chef” Salad is very popular.

Many Cheese Dishes

There are many dishes that are cooked or baked using cheese as the base. Creaming cheese with milk and using the cheese as a sauce. Chicken is very delicious with a cheese sauce as its base while baking. You may bake your chicken and pour the cheese sauce over it after the chicken has already baked. Grilled cheese sandwiches have always been a hit with my family. Cheddar Cheese mixed in biscuit dough makes an excellent bread. There are so many ways to prepare cheese in our foods and add the much needed nutrients and vitamins to your diet. Cheeses have many health benefits and can be prepared in many different ways. You can eat cheese raw, cooked, baked, and sprinkled over your foods just about any way you please enjoying one of the many different flavors. Cheese spreads are great way to dice up your breads and crackers to share with your friends and family. Eat Cheese Please!

Thank you for sharing your article on cheese. I had to smile when I saw Lasagna mentioned in your article. Of all the foods I know how to make I simply make a mess out of Lasagna. I've only made it once and that was last year. It turned in to soup. I have no idea what I did wrong because I followed the directions. Go figure. I think cheese is something that most people love.
