Who wouldn't like healthy, strong nails? well, it doesn't have to be a challenge after all! with some simple, inexpensive tips, perfect nails could be just around the cuticle!

Top Tips For Healthy Nails

Neat, tidy, strong healthy nails add the finishing touch to any out fit. So how hard could it be? with some simple tips you to can learn how to maintain naturally gorgeous nails.

How to cure a nail infection:
Tea Tree oil is a natural anti fungal, simply add a drop to a moisturising cream or lotion and rub into the nail and surrounding area twice a day for at least three weeks.

How to grow healthy nails:
Take a multi-vitamin and mineral supplement. If you've tried this and there's no improvement after two months add an amino acid supplement combination of arginine, tryptophan, tyrosine, glutamine, and lysine. (Remember always follow product directions).

Stop Biting:
1. Try having synthetic tips put on for a week you can't bit them as easily!
2. failing that rub some Vicks vapor rub into your nails, the taste should put you off biting.
3. Distraction, place a band around your wrist and when you feel like biting simply twist the band instead.
4. Paint your nails your favourite colour and remind yourself you do not want to ruin your hard work!
5. Everytime you catch yourself biting think of the word ugly, repeat this word in your mind. After doing this for a while you'll begin to associate the two things and reinforce the reason you want to stop.

How to whiten nails:
Denture Cleaner. Pop some fizzy tablets to a basin of water and soak your hands for a few minutes, this will help lift stains and brighten nails.

Treat Dry Nails:
Olive Oil is something most of us already have at home in the cupboard, but did you now it makes a great nail oil. High in essential fatty acids and vitamin E it helps reduce and repair cell damage, simple rub a few drops into your nails before bed and wake to see a reduction in rag nails and over time brittleness.
