It is one of my discovered recipe because we run out of chicken and we only had this fish. I am inspired to make a recipe base on a chicken recipe but I substitute it with a fillet fish. It is kind of hard to make at first because I didn't know what the taste would be in the end but still it resulted to a good recipe.

Dory Cordon Bleu

“You are what you eat. What would YOU like to be?” ― Julie Murphy, Nutrition Across A Lifetime

This is one of the recipes closest to my heart. It is the same as preparing as chicken cordon bleu but instead of chicken we used fish in this recipe. For those who are fish lovers or people who just one to eat less meat this is a great recipe for all of you. Paired with the very delicious garlic sauce or you can just make your own gravy. Instead of chicken, why try to use fillet dory fish or any of your chosen fillet of fish. A healthy yet flavorful recipe.

Ingredients:

1 pack cream dory fish (fillet)
1 bowl flour
2-3 pieces egg
1 bowl bread crumbs
1 pack of your chosen cheese
1 pack of your chosen ham
Toothpick or string
Salt and pepper to taste
1 bottle cooking oil
Paper towels to dry excess oil

Sauce:

3 cloves of garlic
1 pack plain mayo
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon chopped spring onion for garnish

Procedure:

Thinly slice the dory fish if it is too thick for you. Slice thinly your chosen ham and cheese like a size of a regular fries. Fill your dory fish with the sliced ham and cheese. Gently fold your fish packed with ham and cheese. Put toothpick or tie a string onto the sides into it to hold your fish with filling. Dredge in flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Deep fry into cooking oil until golden brown. Plate in a plate with paper towel to absorb excess oil. Set aside.

To make the sauce, finely chopped the garlic. Mix it with the mayonnaise. Season with salt , sugar, vinegar and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped spring onions. Serve paired with fried dory cordon bleu.
