You need not rely on pills, when you can opt for these home remedies to prepone or induce a late period.

You Missed Your Period?

A sedentary lifestyle, increase in stress level, being overweight are just a few factors that result in an irregular menstrual cycle.

Rather than relying on medication, you would probably love to experiment with the foods mentioned herein below, for having your periods back on the right track.
However, even after a week, you do not see any result, then it is advisable to have an appointment fixed with your doctor.

Home Remedies: To Induce A Period

1. Papaya
This is probably the most effective way to prepone a late period. Advisable to consume raw papaya, to kickstart a late period.

2. Carrots
If you are finding an alternative for the first option, you can easily replace papayas with carrorts.

3. Sugarcane Juice
1 small glass of sugarcane juice, twice a day, to be taken till the date of onset of your periods.

4. Sesame seeds with Jaggery
Dry roast a spoonful of sesame seeds and consume the same with jaggery, twice a day. For better results, consume it early morning on an empty stomach.

5. Ginger Tea
Tea lovers would love to experiment with this option. An another alternative is consuming two teaspoons of ginger juice, early morning on an empty stomach.

6. Turmeric
Not only does it spice up your curries, turmeric is an Ayurveda spice, rich in medicinal properties. 1 small cup of warm water with a teaspoon of turmeric, to be consumed every morning, to start a late period.

7. Green Tea
Not sure, if this option is an effective home remedy to induce a period. In general opinion, 4 cups of green tea for 4 days can prepone a period. However, there are contradictory views to the same home remedy.

You Got To Exercise Too

A controlled diet along with regular exercise, can help reduce stress levels and maintain a normal weight. You just need to tackle the reasons behind an irregular menstrual cycle, to get your periods back on track.

Don't get pregnant and then suffer a miscarriage.

Never had a late period, always on time every time but for the 10 months of pregnancy.
