Ginger - A good pick up at the supermarket.

The name Ginger comes from the middle English Gingivere. Ginger dates back 3,000 years to India and Rome. Ginger is traditionally used and recommended for gastrointestinal and blood diseases. It is also used for abdominal bloating, coughing,vomiting,diarrhea, inflammatory and joint diseases such as arthritis and rheumatism. It is a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin E,vitamin B6, Iron, magnesium, potassium and a very good source of manganese.Ginger is also good overall for the immune system. So the next time you go to the supermarket pick some up.
