It isn't a seven or eight day plan, but it should be part of one's lifestyle everyday.

Home made treatment after the holiday

Does anyone have space for another mouthful of that delicious Christmas pudding or one of those mouth watering chocolates and sweets?
I bet nobody does after the grand lunch on Christmas Day and afterwards.
I've been careful on this, following my principle to have the very best things, which are always the most expensive. If one doesn't have much to spend on the very best food, one is likely to buy small portions, so, there's no problem to over eat till burst and to get extra weight on one's body.
we still have New Year Eve to come, but this is another story, I think. Or, there'll most probably be more abundant and exquisite diners with equally abundant drink.
By the beginning of the new year, we'll find ourselves with big bodies and slim accounts, but this happens year in and year out and we should be used to the trend to know how to face January and beyond.
_ Light meals such as thin soups, boiled veggies with spuds, making sure that the fruit bowl always shows a good choice of seasonal fruit.
_ No alcoholic drinks for some time just to give the liver a rest. If feeling thirsty, plenty of tea or plain water will do too.
_ Why join a gym when a two hour brisk walk will do too? Morning or evening doesn't matter so much so long as one takes it earnestly.
_ After all the family gatherings for hours on end, the house will be in need of a good clean and, perhaps, repairs.
_ January is the month for bargain sales, but what? Haven't we spent enough before and during the festive season? Do we still need to go on bargain haunting to wrestle against other shoppers?
One can do these things for a change.
_ Strolls when shops aren't opened yet or they are already closed.
_ We can plan an excursion to the mountains and the countryside whenever it's possible, but with determination of going. These rural excursions are what we need after the Christmas madness and it's when they're more appealing, because days start lengthening and there's more daylight.
_ Visit to those friends or relatives that couldn't join in the Christmas gatherings and madness regularly.
Does this have to be a seven or eight day plan? Not really and, in fact, it should be part of our lifestyle.
