Did you know that you can treat cancer in its early stages and save your life?

First Signs Of Cancer

Cancer is the disease caused by uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a particular part of the body. There are various types of cancers, and the disease can attack anyone regardless of age, race or sex. Treatment includes surgery, radiation therapy, a series of chemotherapy sessions or medication to shrink the growths or all the above depending on the type and stage of the cancer.

Cancer patients undergo lots of painful body changes that make life quite unbearable. Treatment is quite expensive. In recent days, there have been a lot of awareness initiatives going round; calling people to come out for screening, for survivors to share experiences with cancer patients to encourage them and many others.

This article will serve to highlight the early signs of any cancer. All signs and symptoms depend on how big the cancer is and in which part of the body it has manifested itself, also on how much it affects the organs or tissues.

Sharp pains will be felt by the patient when a cancer has grown to an advanced stage and is affecting the surrounding organs by pressing against them. In doing so, it may also be blocking the flow of blood and other body fluids.

Early signs of cancer include the patient always feeling exhausted and also losing weight because the growth usually uses up much of the body’s energy or changes the way the body converts energy from food. Some cancers release hormone-like fluids into the blood stream which may affect the person’s central nervous system causing him or her to feel weak and dizzy because of the rise in blood calcium levels. Skin change is also a symptom of cancer manifested by redness, yellowness itchiness or excessive growth of hair on the skin.

Symptoms of any disease should never be overlooked; they are best addressed early because the percentage of survival and healing is relatively high when the disease is still young.
