Stress is very varied in our day to day lives and one should not let stress affect their lives badly. Here are some tips on how to avoid stress so that one can live a happy and content life.

How to get rid of stress?

1. Identify the stress: At the times when you feel quite separated from the world or some kind of uneasiness, then you might be stressed out of something. It can be due to work, studies, finances or some other reason.

2. Learn to relax: Relaxation is really important as it helps an individual to be in peace despite of having lots of activities to be accomplished in day to day lives. Deep and slow breathing with chanting is a great way to stay relaxed. In case you are stuck up in traffic in your car then you can do some neck, arm, feet exercises in a slow motion to stay relaxed.

3. Exercise regularly: Make it a everyday goal to exercise regularly at least for 30 minutes. It will help you to reduce stress levels thereby helping you stay fit and fine. Moreover, your heart as well as overall health will be absolutely fine.

4. Avoid smoking and alcohol: Smoking and alcohol are some of the most commonly used ways to get rid of stress. But those who are using it don't understand that these things prove harmful to the health of the individual in the long term. So avoid using these things to beat stress.

5. Develop hobbies: Hobbies like listening music, singing, writing help you to express yourself to the world around you. You can make sure that the hobbies are free for you in the sense that there are no deadlines and you get inner happiness.

6. Consult a doctor: If you are still feeling that there is no reduction in the stress levels of your life then have a consultation with a doctor and get the treatment done like stress management or medications.
