How to overcome bad temper??

I admit, I had bad temper, especially when I was tired or had not slept enough. My fuse easily got burned. I either had to express my 'anger' or had to keep it within myself and then express it through other ways. Many other ways.

This part of me really destroyed potential relationships I've had with people, to the point of me being avoided. It sucks when people avoid you because of what you are.

Lately though, I was able to control this temper of mine, and even got to the point where I take no offense from offensive remarks and opinions of other people. I even tolerate mistakes and stuff like that.

Still nice though, because I try to make it up with the bad temper with my smiles and attitude of "Let's forget about yesterday and make a brand new day," which was not always nice because I used this reason to blow my temper over and over again.

Well, what I did really was take a look at myself and accept people for what they are, accept that we make mistakes in life, that I, too make mistakes.

I always remind myself, "Relax, calm down, let it go, take a deep breath, be happy, don't think about it, don't worry about it, everybody makes mistakes, I make mistakes, people would forgive me for my shortcomings, I forgive them for their shortcomings, I'm a nice guy, I don't want to burn bridges, these people would help me or break me -- they would help me!"
