Does greasy hair cause you a lot of trouble? Have you tried anything that you could think of with no result? Do not fret, there are ways to improve the condition of your oily scalp and look healthier!

What do I need to do first?

You know very well that daily routine: wake up in the morning, wash you hair and in the evening you can start all over again if you want to look decent. Everything seems to have been in vain, because you always fail to look the way you want. But do not lose hope, follow these steps to get rid of oily scalp and be proud that you have healthy hair!

The first step you need to take is to wash your hair every day with a mild shampoo, pH balanced. Shampoos for children can be the perfect choice for frequent use, while shampoos for oily hair are too aggressive for everyday use.

Very important: apply conditioner only to the loose ends of your hair, not to the roots! You can even think of getting a haircut, which would spare you of the "burden" of daily wash. Also, the fats you eat are to be cut down from your diet or reduced as much as possible, because these can be eliminated by the sebaceous glands located at the root of your hair.

Avoid any hair care products that contain their silicone oil, lanolin, and the 2 in 1 which can be very aggressive for your hair, they stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce more oil.

Useful tips for oily hair

Powder - if you're in a hurry and you do not have time to get your hair done, baby powder can be a big help.Powder your hair, leave it 5 minutes to apply and then comb it. The result: the powder will absorb the oil and your hair will not seem so full of fat.

Lemon and aloe vera - you need 1 / 2 teaspoon of aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Mix these ingredients and add some of your shampoo. Wash your hair normally with this composition, but do not forget: leave it a few minutes to apply and then wash it.

Mint leaves - Put 1 1 / 2 cups of water in a container. Add a handful of mint leaves and let them boil for 20 minutes. Mix the solution and pour it over your shampoo (300 ml).

Massage - it can help exfoliate the skin and remove the oil residue. Mix 1 tablespoon of malt vinegar in a glass of water and add salt. Use 2 tablespoons of the composition t to massage your scalp, repeating the treatment twice a week. It is very important to leave it to apply for an hour before washing it.

Conditioner with extracts of henna - mix the extracts of henna leaves with 2 tablespoons of yogurt and a little sugar so as to form a paste. Add a little water, if you think the paste is too thick. Apply it on hair and leave it on for 20 minutes, then wash your hair.

Watercress (Nasturtium officinale) - it is a plant with numerous properties (beneficial against cancer, flavor salads) because of its vitamins and minerals: iron, zinc and vitamin A. Add a glass of water, a handful of fresh watercress leaves (if you have long hair ,you may need twice as many leaves and 2 glasses of water) and mix well. Warm up the composition and let it to boil for 10 minutes, then let it cool. Meanwhile, wash your hair and then apply the solution that you prepared, leaving it on for 20 minutes before rinsing with water.
