High cholesterol is very harmful for the body, it is describe as a waxy substance, that is found in your body. Cholesterol is generally transported in the blood plasma of the body.

Cholesterol is describe as a waxy substance, that is found in your body, it is needed for producing hormones, bile and vitamin D. Another purpose for cholesterol is for protecting nerves and also for structuring body cells. Cholesterol is mostly made in the liver, but a certain amount come from our diet. A diet which is high in saturated fat(type of fat found primarily in animal products); generally increases your blood cholesterol level. Whereas a diet which is high in fiber, with lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds will decrease high cholesterol levels in the blood. High cholesterol is very harmful for the body, cholesterol is usually transported VIA the blood plasma of the body, it is
mainly responsible for cardiovascular disease and this is the reason why reducing high cholesterol levels in the body is very important.

The Symptoms Of High Cholesterol

The symptoms of high cholesterol are usually visible in the last stages of high cholesterol, these include peripheral vascular disease, stroke and coronary disease(Angina). The following discomfort are also associated with high cholesterol:

- Fever
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Vomiting
-Heart palpitations
-Numbness of arm or leg
-Sudden vision impairment

Tips For Reducing High Cholesterol

High Cholesterol generally clogs the arteries and also increases the risk of coronary disease(Angina).

1). Generally your cholesterol levels should be less than 200 and any reading that is more than 20 shows that there is evidence of high cholesterol levels.
2). High Cholesterol levels can be reduce from maintaining a healthy diet. A healthy heart can help reduce the low density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol in your body.
3).It is best to avoid foods that are rich in animal products or saturated fats. A diet that
is high in fibers, fresh fruits and vegetables is ideal for reducing High Cholesterol levels.
4).Fresh fruits helps as a decongestant for arteries filled with High Cholesterol.
5). Losing weight can also help to reduce High Cholesterol levels, obesity can lead to heart attacks.

A well written article about Tip for reducing cholesterol. I for one using this as a reference to help me lower mine. I have been medication but a healthier diet and exercise is the best medicine.

Good tips.Reducing or avoiding foods with the colour 'white' helps reduce cholesterol and body weight.And stay away from coke and your refrigerator. :)
