Makeup can be a girls’ best friend if used correctly. The trick is to make it look natural and effortless, just how a summer should be. Summer is full of pleasures, but melting makeup, NO! Makeup-less is not always ideal; but you have to be comfortable with that.

Cosmetics are meant to enhance your look

Here are a few simple make up tips.
• Always use a primer as it adds moisture to the skin and even out skin tone creating a great base to work on.
• Do away with heavy foundation. Use a light water based or mineral foundation instead. If you have good skin, don’t cover it up with a concealer. Let it remain natural, or use a tinted moisturizer.
• Bronzers add extra warmth to the skin. During summer, apply a bronzer using light strokes on the cheekbones, a little on the forehead, chin and nose. Don’t go crazy though because you don’t want to look overdone.
• Blush tints are great to use. Apply cream blush or tint using your fingers to create to lovely flush.
• Matte or shimmery eye shadows are fun to use, but use those in light pastel hues as they can add softness to your look.
• A simple gloss or nude lipstick usually does the trick and creates the perfect summer look.
It is always nice to be comfortable with your makeup. High humidity and heat can cause makeup meltdown, which is tedious to deal with, so why would you put yourself in that position? Remember, makeup is meant you enhance our look, not change them. So don’t go overboard.

foundation is, one or two shades darker than your skin tone works best. This helps you to not appear pale onstage. Spread it evenly all over the face, neck, and into the hairline.
