Gaining muscle for a well toned and healthy looking body is a sure way to boost your health, confidence and self esteem.

Gain Muscles

It’s a weekend and the weather is great. You are going out for a picnic with your friends and you want to show off your hard earned bumps and curves in one of your muscle T-shirts, the rare opportunity they see you without office wear. You put on your favorite pair of shots and open sandals, giving room for those toned up legs. “The girls are going to love this,” you tell yourself as you stand in front of the mirror… Suddenly, your boss slams a bunch of paper work on your desk and interrupts your day dreams. It's nowhere close to the weekend and you are probably nowhere near Mr. Olympia. We all go through this at a point in our life. Well, stop the fantasies and make them a reality!
Gaining muscles is quite an easy task, contrary to what many people think. With the right knowledge, mind set and a considerable level of seriousness, you will be on your way to being the newest Johnny Bravo in town (Without the microscopic IQ and the weird pick-up lines of course). Few people have physiques that get bulky with regular exercise. However, some of us need more than just exercise to get the bulgy, toned up experience, without which your body will just grow slim, but harden and become strong.
Nutritionists have recommended dieting and use of supplements. It is said that you can not be able to diet and exercise at the same time, as one process is the reverse of the other. You can still opt to shed off the fat using placebos and fat burning diets, they bring in the gym process later as you go on with your normal lifestyle. Diets come in either long term or short term. Short term diets are best for detoxifying while long term diets are best for body building plus the removal of what I may term as drag-agents. These are the elements, mostly within your body that slow down the muscle building process. They may include fat accumulation below your skin, cholesterol around your muscles and the arteries. Therefore dieting will help in acting as fat burning components while you pump up the muscles. This way, you kill two birds with two stones. It seems costly, but not at all.
Diets mostly contain low fat foods, fruits, lots of water more fruits. Research has proven that dieting can improve the blood pressure and cut down on anti hypertensive medication lasting up to three years. For exercises, enrolling in a gym is an option, but one that is slowly being overtaken by many other options like a home gym, or a group gym, where you meet up with a few people with similar interests and decide to make it a joint venture in opening your own group gym. Outdoor exercises add flair of adventure to the mix and may include morning or evening runs, biking, or a simple walk around the neighborhood. But for the really toned up muscles, ‘simple’ is a word I would omit in that statement. Start out slow, but go hard when your muscles get used to the idea.
Good luck Johnny!
