Demonstrates the Curative Powers of Positive Thinking

Thought Can Raise You Up or Mess You Up!

If you envision the New Year as the beginning of your life of easier circumstances, you may want to make the utilization of Positive Thinking your New Year's Resolution. However, let it be known that the choice of positive thoughts over negative thoughts will be a most beneficial resolution anytime of the year. Positive thinkers are optimistic individuals. No matter the season they invariably focus upon the good in a situation as opposed to the bad. The power(s) of Positive Thinking has been praised by many as a doable self-improvement tool. Some known proponents of Positive Thinking were Napoleon Hill, Catherine Ponder, Ernest Holmes and Dennis Kimbro. Others are well-known, but not often directly associated with Positive Thinking such as Gandhi, Frederick Douglass, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King, Jr. and the late, Nelson Mandela. All exhibited a true mastery of positive thinking skills. They replaced images of impossibility with those of unlimited possibility. Transformation of their life, world and affairs was moved forward via the curative power of positive thought.

For over a quarter of a century, studies have indicated that positive thought has an extraordinary effect upon our physical and emotional well-being. Well over 80% of those who adhere to Positive Thinking as a lifestyle choice report that it has enhanced, empowered and transformed their life experiences. These progressive sages are excellent role models of unwavering thought power. When delving into their biographies, it is clear that the utilization of Positive Thinking was a mainstay in their life. It became their catalyst for change. Mandela rose above the challenges of insufferable human conditions by resolving to become self-empowered by becoming a more positive thinker. For these individuals, positive thinking had become an evolving lifestyle. One of the benefit of a positive attitude is the ability to broaden your scope. It is extremely difficult to move forward when your gaze is often focused behind you.

Keep an Upward Focus

Often times, it becomes overwhelmingly apparent that being wedded to revenge and un-forgiveness is oppressive. Negative energy depletes your life affirming forces. Such toxicity is harmful! It can be either mentally and/or physically deadly. The higher self often rebels against these prosperity saboteurs. Softly, ever so gently, our guardian ancestors or best self echoes and reveals a universal law: ‘A changed mind can change anything’. An optimist’s natural intuition favors that which is life-affirming. New thoughts have the power to enable you to control yourself, your affairs and your environment. Negative energy is transformed into positive forces that assist in enduring many of life’s challenges. Metaphysically it should also be noted: ‘That to which you give your attention is what you will increase’. Employing proven self-improvement techniques like positive self-talk and the recitation of positive affirmation has been beneficial for many positive thinking novices. More often than not, that in the spirit of mankind which wants to thrive and not merely survive usually prevails.

If you are unhappy with your current life, world and affairs, consider making this a year of personal empowerment! Here are a few positive thought quotes to quick start the New Year:

"There is nothing more potent than thought.
Deed follows words and words follow thought.” ~Gandhi

“Our destiny is largely in our own hands.” ~ Frederick Douglass

“I Have A Dream” ~ Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same
level of thinking we were at when we created them.” ~ Albert Einstein

“I am fundamentally an optimistic. Whether that comes from nature or nature,
I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head pointed toward the sun, one’s feet moving forward.” ~Nelson Mandela
