Animals, whether land, sea, and air, do not distinguish between confinement in a small area and that within a great number of acres of space allotted for them by their human captors. They know their freedom is as limitless a space as the universe! - Jamie

A Specimen Of Human Captivity

No one can better articulate the thoughts of one wrongfully jailed than this man in the video: the painful separation from the ones he loved; the uncertain future of solitary loneliness exposed to hardened criminals; on edge, the close intimation of his sanity and mortality; and the stigma after his release, etc (video credit to BBC News)

Hardened criminals would feel or suffer no less. At least they are all accorded the justice system, no matter how laws are widely regarded as an ass!

Not so with animals. They have been routinely hunted, caged, and killed. Their natural habitat and environment having been invaded, they are subjugated, exploited, butchered and eaten by their number one predator: Man! !

Now compare the trauma of humans jailed to animals caged!

"A byrd in hand - is worth ten flye at large."

We give the title a literal interpretation of "A bird in a cage is worth two in a bush," or preferably worth a representation of all such species of bird deprived of freedom.

Imagine the trees... Trees without the birds sheltering behind their thick foliage. Their existence will be incomplete and devoid of purpose.

Pets of any kind do not relish the thought of being loved and fed and at the same time being kept in cages or tanks or ocean parks -- away from their natural environment in freedom.

Mali,The Loneliest Elephant On Earth!

"Mali is the only Elephant in the Manila zoo, known as the world's loneliest elephant and the only captive elephant in the Philippines, and she is the subject of a campaign from animal rights organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PeTA). A report issued by PeTA points out the numerous issues regarding Mali being kept in captivity." - Wikipedia

Let us hope the petition to transfer Mali to a sanctuary has not yet been overtaken by events. So here is the link to the site for us to do our share:

The Largest Aquarium Tank In The World Is A Lonely Microcosm!

It is no mean feat that humans can actually house a behemoth of marine life such as whales larger than themselves into a miniature confinement against the backdrop of the large global ocean for the purpose of entertainment and sheer greed and profit.

Sadder still, not to be outdone, other cities or states within or countries will soon follow suit to build another aquarium of more grandiose design, not to mention of pitifully greater spell-binding space to cull, nay imprison, more peace-loving and innocent denizens of the deep that will get them displayed before land revelers.

The Tale Of Two Cages

There is no causal connection between humans imprisoned as illustrated by one video here and animals caged as viewed in the other.

On the one hand, humans are to answer for their misdeeds and crimes they commit against their fellow man, a precept to regulate behavior and rule. In other words a requirement of law and order. And justice system.

On the other, animals so caged or severely restricted are merely captives of arbitrary arrest, cruel and unjust scientific punishment...Unbridled human greed, profit and evil!

All things considered, if humans themselves find it abject degradation to their being to be enclosed in four walls, they should altogether dispense with inhuman punishment to their own kind by using more humane method to address the transgression.

The transgression that people are prone to and are the most guilty of involves the jailers more than the prisoners, the captors more than the captives. For jailers and captors are one in feeling the same aversion to being themselves imprisoned and caged as humans.

Ergo, denizens of land, field, forest, and water -- humans and animals! -- are destined to roam free and allowed to live their unencumbered life. Only those the less evolved ones who cage them, especially those inflicting serious injuries on animals, deserve to be imprisoned without qualifications.

Thanks for sharing another great article. Congratulations on the gold star. We just had an incident happen in our city where a lady and her two children were going into the library and spotted a little dog in a very hot car. She knew the dog was in distress and called the police. She was afraid something bad would happen to the dog before the police came. The lady broke into the car and saved the dog. She picked the dog up and carried it into the Library that was air conditioned. They gave the dog water and before long the little dog was doing much better. The new law allows people to break into cars and save animals that are in distress. I was so thankful the little dog was okay.

The people in the world need to be educated on how to take care of animals of all kinds and sizes. I think putting them in enclosed areas when they should be in their own environment is so wrong. I know animal activists have tried but there is so much more work to be done. I will also say that unfortunately money will always play a part.

Greetings, our good and kind friend, Nancy Czerwinski! Your new law is a good one. Smiles.

If the peoples could once again come into the realization that they are no different than other Sentient Beings no matter their tailoring or race or looks, whether be four feet or two or feathered wings or otherwise, there could not be this level of insanity toward the non-human and HUman Sentient Beings.

Money shall not always play a part, our good friend, Nancy, for if that be so then paradise would not exist in any level of HUmanity upon any world.

In the world that we live in now there aren't many places that anyone would call paradise which makes everyone sad. There are very good people in the world and then again there are evil people that try to destroy the good that does exist. I always try to look at the good but we all know that what is going on in many different ways is so bad. The animals suffer and so many people suffer. We are all thankful for people like you.
