Domestication of animals, in hindsight, is more a curse than a blessing. It is where they do not want to be instead of their natural habitat that is the main cause of their grief and suffering! - Jamie

The Old Golden Rule

Animals like horses and bulls were not designed to be ridden on any more than humans similarly were, and nor do they want to be confined in cages in much the same way that humans fear being jailed!

The defiance of this Golden Rule, or in other words, the gross violation thereof, is attributed to no less than humans supposedly endowed with compassionate instincts, moral ethics and rational thinking.

Consider how all these attributes are negated by their innate savagery and barbarity in the following videos, which illustrates the chasm between so-called "civilized behavior" and evolved values.

Get Off Their Backs, People!

It is not from the fact that animals are being actually hurt here, far from it. On the contrary, it lies in the "masochism disorder," for lack of a better word, of humans riding on the back of bulls, a dangerous activity that they turned into competitive sport: the one who stays the longest on the back of the convulsing bull garners the most points!

This one is with horses.

They Were At The Wrong Place!

As can be expected, animals in this sport gets mortally injured when they are with humans, like this bull which would likely lose one leg.

The horse that was killed here was also courtesy of sponsorship or management.

The Last Stage: Slaughter

Like night is followed by day, the life of animals is subject to the trend of human cruelty as in the case of horses, when they become too old to be of any use, sans their meat which they cull by slaughtering them as this video will show:

The slaughter of a bull is not in the least bit distressing to watch! As with other animals, their instincts for survival now include driving in vain away from their territory the number one predator of them all: Man!

The Rebellion Of The Animals

Here are two videos where lions felt it was too much and decided to attack.

How about this hunter who met his match? It goes without saying, humans can explore outside of their natural domain but should not interfere with land animals in their natural environment, much less the denizens of the oceans and those in the air!

And lastly, straight from the horse's powerful hind legs.

Erratum: We apologize for a statement that got wrongly worded: For "The slaughter of a bull is not in the least bit distressing to watch," please read "The slaughter of a bull is the most distressing to watch!"

Correction by Jamie. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing this article and the videos. They are very hard to watch. Why would anyone put themselves or an innocent animal through this in the name of a sport. That is truly very sad indeed. I couldn't help but notice the companies that had their names around the corrals. They should be humiliated at the very least and this practice should stop and charges be brought up for cruelty to animals.

The misuse of bulls and horses we see here is bad enough, however to realize that millions of large animals are being slaughtered the Halal way we see here in one of the videos is very distressing.
