To make real change in life and control symptoms of ADD/ADHD, it is necessary for the people who are suffering from this disorder to follow certain strategies and methods.

Relationships

Be alert while you converse with anyone. Keep yourself busy by scheduling appointments with your friends and enjoy going out. Do not speak so quickly. Most of the time, try to listen. Try to talk to people who already have these symptoms because they can understand you better than others do.

Time management

Set deadlines for even small tasks so that you get used to being on-time.set alarm clock and timers to stay on track. Avoid being stressed out with lot of work. Schedule one after the other based on the priorities and work out. Take breaks at regular intervals.

Sleep

Sleep is must that too plenty of sleep if you want to keep your stress life aside and be more productive. Otherwise, you cannot focus, manage anything and keep top on your responsibilities. You need to sleep for 7 to 8 hours a day to start fresh the next day.

Exercise and eat

Eat everything, all varieties of food items, but avoid sugary food items as they deal with the mood swings. Exercise regularly and thoroughly to keep your body fit. Excessive energy and aggression are worked out due to which your body is kept calm.

Work environment

Try choosing something, which you like the most. Follow some notes-to-self, rituals and files, which can help you, keep track. Observe for yourself when you can be more productive. This helps in teamwork with more organized people.
